Instructions and methods for using aluminum alloys and aluminum additives

      In order to improve the various properties of aluminum, it is necessary to add various alloying elements to make alloys of different grades. At present, alloys or pure metals are basically used for addition in China. Some domestic aluminum processing plants have replaced intermediate alloys with aluminum alloy additives. From the use effect, it can be seen that additives not only have all the advantages of intermediate alloys, but also overcome some of their disadvantages. Therefore, additives are becoming increasingly widely used.

      Application of aluminum alloy additive products: Adding alloy elements in aluminum alloy melting.

      Product advantages:

      Additives: Aluminum and aluminum alloy additives are far superior to intermediate alloys due to their excellent addition mechanism, convenient usage method, stable element yield, and economical production method. Avoiding excessive melting temperature and reducing the lifespan of the melting furnace; Increased burning loss of aluminum and alloy elements, as well as decreased melting productivity, have worsened working conditions. What is even more serious is the uneven composition of the intermediate alloy, which brings a series of difficulties to the control of the alloy element content in the future. For most civilian aluminum alloys, it is an ideal material to replace intermediate alloys.

      Instructions for using aluminum and aluminum alloy additives:

      Aluminum and aluminum alloy additives can be added directly to the melting furnace or to the holding furnace, but must be added before refining. To achieve the desired yield of alloying elements, other coordination conditions are required, as described below:

      Due to the use of pure metal addition mechanism, the absorption rate of alloy elements always increases with the increase of temperature. On site experience has proven that aluminum and aluminum alloy additives are sensitive to temperature, especially manganese additives. The temperature of the aluminum liquid must be controlled at 740 ± 10 ℃ when adding additives, otherwise it will prolong the metal absorption time.
