Product applications and characteristics

AX-1150 refractory fiber paste is used for pasting or repairing flow channels, hoppers, and linings; for prefabricating and repairing distributors used in continuous casting or horizontal casting; as lining material for heat treatment furnaces or batching furnaces; in the pouring and riser areas of gravity casting; and as lining for ladles, ladle scoops, etc.

This product is a grayish-white, moldable refractory material; it is easy to operate and has loose requirements for usage conditions; with a maximum refractoriness of 1100℃, it can be baked and molded according to on-site needs; it can form a dense and smooth refractory coating. This product has good thermal insulation properties and high surface strength; it does not wet or bond with molten aluminum and zinc liquids.

Product composition: Alumina ~20%, Silica ~70%, Others ~10%

Instructions: First, dip the trowel in water to prevent it from sticking to the refractory fiber paste. Apply the refractory fiber paste to the surface of metal or refractory material, and smooth it out once it meets the desired requirements. For a thickness of 10mm: dry in the shade for 30 minutes to 1 hour; for thicknesses greater than 30mm, the drying time will exceed 3 hours.

Packaging and storage: 5kg/barrel, 20kg/box

Store in a dry and cool place; temperature should not be below 5℃.

After each use, it should be sealed to prevent it from drying out and solidifying due to water loss.

Shelf life: 6 months
