iron mold coating
The iron mold coating is a water-based coating, suitable for low-pressure and gravity casting. In terms of performance, it can be divided into two major categories: thermal insulation and lubrication.
Iron mold coating AT120 is suitable for gravity and low-pressure casting of thin sections and large flat castings
Iron mold coating AT390 is suitable for applications where a smooth surface of the casting is required
Iron mold coating AT140 is suitable for gravity casting of piston castings and wheel hubs
Usage: Mold preparation: Clean the mold, remove the binder after sandblasting, and roughen the surface. Heat the mold evenly to 250-350℃ (if the mold has just been removed from the production line, it should be cooled, cleaned, and then heated again), and then cool it to 150-200℃.
Paint mixing: Open the lid of the bucket, thoroughly remix the paint once more, pour out the required amount and dilute it according to the proportion, and continue mixing for a period of time until it is uniform.
The dilution ratio is 1:3-5
Hold the spray gun at a certain distance from the mold (with a reference distance of 300mm), and spray evenly until the required coating thickness is achieved. The general thickness is 75-125μm
Packaging: 5Kg/barrel, 20Kg/box
Storage: Keep in a ventilated and dry place, with an ambient temperature not lower than 10℃
