1. Product characteristics

75Ti titanium additive is a flux-type or aluminum-type block product, containing approximately 75% titanium. It dissolves rapidly in aluminum melt and is used to add titanium elements, refine grain size, and enhance alloy strength.

II. Applicable Scenarios

It is suitable for grain refinement and titanium element addition in various aluminum alloys, especially for extruded materials and castings that have high requirements for grain size.

III. Dosage

Additive dosage (kg) = weight of aluminum liquid (kg) × (target titanium % - original titanium %) ÷ 75%. The conventional addition amount is 0.05% to 0.2% of the aluminum liquid mass. The calculation should consider the actual absorption rate, which is generally between 90-98%, and is subject to factors such as aluminum liquid temperature, absorption time, and stirring intensity.

IV. Usage

The temperature of the aluminum liquid is 720℃～750℃. After skimming, the titanium additive is pressed into the bottom of the aluminum liquid using a bell jar. Stir and dissolve for 5～10 minutes. After allowing it to stand and skim, it is cast or further processed.

V. Precautions

The refinement effect of titanium is related to the holding time, so avoid long-term high-temperature holding; store in a moisture-proof environment.
