Low temperature refining agent (AJ1-4)
AJ1-4 refining agent is composed of various salt compounds and has the function of achieving simultaneous degassing, slag removal, and covering at lower temperatures. Suitable for refining aluminum alloy melts at lower temperatures.
Features:
During use, it can quickly melt and react at 6600C, effectively adsorbing and dissolving solid oxides in the alloy liquid, thereby achieving the effects of refining, slag removal, and gas removal. The slag floating up after the reaction can effectively cover the surface of the aluminum liquid to reduce the absorption and oxidation of the alloy liquid; It has the function of refining, slag removal, and covering synchronously.
Usage process:
Crucible furnace: When the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches around 660-7200C, stir to make the temperature of the aluminum liquid in the crucible uniform. Then add refining agent to the surface of the aluminum liquid, stay for 10-20 seconds, and press it into the bottom of the aluminum liquid with a tool to continuously react with AI2O3 in the aluminum liquid, thereby removing impurities and hydrogen gas. Achieve the effect of purifying aluminum liquid and refining eutectic structure.
Aluminum melting furnace with a capacity of over one ton: Due to the powder particles of AJ series aluminum and aluminum alloy refining agents, for larger capacity aluminum melting furnaces, jet refining method is used, which has a larger contact area with the aluminum liquid and better gas and slag removal effect. When the temperature of the aluminum melt reaches around 7200C-7400C, the refining agent is added to the powder sprayer, and nitrogen or argon gas is used as a carrier to spray into the aluminum melt, forming a large number of dispersed bubbles in the aluminum melt. The bubbles fully contact the aluminum melt during the upward floating process, bringing the gas and impurities in the aluminum melt to the surface of the aluminum melt, achieving the purpose of degassing and slag removal.
Dosage: 0.15-0.2% of the weight of the aluminum liquid.
Packaging: 2Kg/bag, 20Kg/box.
Storage: Keep in a well ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture.
Shelf life: 6 months. If damp, dry at 150 ℃ and continue to use after passing through a sieve.
