VietNamAluminum based intermediate alloy
ZD1-1 zinc alloy slagging agent
1、 Product Features
ZD1-1 zinc alloy slag remover is composed of various inorganic salts and is a powder or granular product. This agent has good wetting and adsorption properties with oxide floating slag in zinc melt, which can quickly separate the slag phase from the metal, make the slag layer loose and dry, facilitate removal, and reduce the metal being carried out, effectively improving the metal recovery rate of zinc alloy. Low smoke volume during use, does not corrode the furnace lining.
2、 Applicable scenarios
Suitable for the slag removal process in the melting process of die-casting zinc alloys, gravity casting zinc alloys, zinc based alloys, and recycled zinc alloys. Especially suitable for the treatment of zinc melt with a high proportion of waste and a large amount of oxidized inclusions.
3、 Dosage
The recommended addition amount is 0.1% to 0.2% (mass fraction) of the zinc solution. The typical recommended value is 0.15%. For situations where the surface floating slag is thick or the waste is dirty, it can be appropriately increased to 0.25%.
4、 Usage method
After the zinc alloy is completely melted, when the temperature of the zinc liquid reaches 430 ℃~480 ℃, evenly spread ZD1-1 slag remover on the surface of the molten slag. Gently stir the floating slag layer with a scraper or specialized tool to ensure full contact between the slag agent and the slag. The reaction time is about 1-2 minutes. Observing the slag layer gradually changing from a viscous state to a loose and dry state, the zinc liquid carried in the slag is clearly precipitated.
Use a scraper to thoroughly remove the surface dry slag from the furnace. After slag removal, refining or other subsequent treatments can be carried out according to the process requirements.
If the slag removal effect is not ideal at once, a small amount of slag removal agent can be added and the operation repeated.
5、 Precautions
Slag remover is only used for the treatment of floating slag on the surface of the melt, and it is strictly prohibited to press it into the bottom of the zinc liquid. The temperature of the zinc solution should not exceed 500 ℃, as excessive temperature can lead to increased oxidation of the zinc solution. Wear heat-resistant gloves, protective face shields, and work clothes during operation to avoid burns. The slag removal process should be carried out in a well ventilated area to reduce the accumulation of smoke.
6、 Packaging specifications
2 kg/bag, 20 kg/box (customizable according to customer requirements)
7、 Storage conditions
Store in a well ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture. After being dampened, the product may clump and affect the uniformity of spreading.
8、 Shelf life
12 months in an unopened state. If the product is slightly damp, it can be dried and sieved at 120 ℃ before continuing to be used; It is recommended to discard it if it is severely damp.
