Plasticized rare earth refining agent (AJ1-5)
AJ1-5 plasticized rare earth refining agent is a new generation of functional refining agent developed by our company to meet market demand and increase the plasticity of aluminum materials. It can significantly improve the mechanical properties of aluminum materials, enhance the flowability of metals under extrusion, and increase extrusion speed.
Features:
1. Having a low melting point, it can effectively adsorb and dissolve solid oxides in the alloy liquid at ordinary refining temperatures, achieving the effects of refining, slag removal, and gas removal.
2. Adding rare earth elements to the refining agent can effectively capture and remove dispersed fine inclusions and free hydrogen in the aluminum alloy melt, thereby improving the gas and slag removal efficiency of the refining agent, increasing the extrusion yield, and achieving a relatively smooth surface quality of the extruded product.
3. Rare earth elements can suppress the formation of iron rich phases in aluminum alloys, selectively adsorb at grain interfaces, hinder grain growth, thereby achieving the effect of refining grains and improving the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys, such as tensile strength, yield strength, hardness, and plasticity. At the same time, rare earths also have microalloying effects, mainly manifested in their fine grain strengthening, solid solution strengthening, and second phase strengthening effects on materials. By forming strong grain boundaries and subgrain layers in the alloy, they prevent grain boundary fracture and subgrain layer aggregation
4. Rare earth elements also have the ability to refine the aluminum matrix, reduce the harm of harmful elements, and enhance the corrosion resistance of aluminum products.
5. This product has characteristics that are different from conventional products. The smoke and dust generated during the refining process of aluminum alloys are extremely light, which can significantly reduce the harm to the environment.
Usage process:
Crucible furnace: When the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches around 660-7200C, stir to make the temperature of the aluminum liquid in the crucible uniform. Then add refining agent to the surface of the aluminum liquid, stay for 10-20 seconds, and press it into the bottom of the aluminum liquid with a tool to continuously react with AI2O3 in the aluminum liquid, thereby removing impurities and hydrogen gas. Achieve the effect of purifying aluminum liquid and refining eutectic structure.
Aluminum melting furnace: For larger capacity aluminum melting furnaces, directly throw the product into the aluminum liquid. When the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches around 7200C-7400C, throw the product into the aluminum liquid and wait for the reaction to complete before proceeding to the next step of operation.
Dosage: 0.2-0.3% of the weight of the aluminum liquid.
Packaging: 5Kg per bag.
Storage: Keep in a well ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture.
