Aluminum alloy (zinc alloy) slagging agent
After refining aluminum (zinc) and aluminum (zinc) alloys, there is a thick layer of dross on the surface of the aluminum liquid. These dross contain a significant amount of metal. The function of slagging agents is to increase the surface tension at the interface between the slag and the aluminum (zinc). With agitation, this effectively separates the aluminum (zinc) liquid from the slag, transforming the slag into a dry powder form. This process significantly reduces the metal content in the slag and minimizes the amount of aluminum (zinc) liquid that is carried out during slag removal.
Product application: Applicable to the separation of aluminum (zinc) slag in aluminum (zinc) alloy furnaces.
Dosage: For AD1-1, AD1-2, AD2-1, AD3-1, and ZD1-1 types, the dosage is 0.1-0.3% of the weight of the aluminum (zinc) liquid. For AD1-3 slagging agent, the dosage is 0.25-0.5%. It can also be determined based on the actual situation on site.
Instructions for use: Weigh the slagging agent according to the amount of molten aluminum (zinc). Before skimming the slag, evenly sprinkle the required slagging agent on the slag. After sprinkling, gently tap or stir the slagging agent and slag to ensure thorough mixing. Ignite and heat for 5-10 minutes (the heating time depends on the temperature of the aluminum (zinc) liquid. If the temperature is low, the heating time can be longer). After the fire is extinguished, skim the slag.
Packaging: Each bag weighs 2 kilograms, and each box contains 20 kilograms..
Storage: Keep in a ventilated and dry place, and be cautious to prevent moisture. If it becomes damp, it can be used again after drying until the moisture content drops below 1%
